A Fresh Interior Can Change the Way Your Home Feels

Careful Preparation
Great interior finishes start before the first coat of paint goes on. We prepare the surfaces and protect the surrounding areas to deliver the highest quality results, every time.

We use professional interior painting products from Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore. Low-VOC and low-odor options are available upon request.

PREP & PROTECTION
We Protect Your Home Before We Pick Up a Brush
Before painting begins, we take the time to prepare the work area and protect the parts of your home that aren’t being painted. Floors, furniture, cabinets, countertops, fixtures, windows, and nearby surfaces are covered or masked as needed for the project.
Good preparation also means addressing the surfaces we’re painting. Depending on their condition, that may include cleaning, sanding, filling holes and imperfections, caulking gaps, and priming where needed so the finish has a clean, sound surface to adhere to.
- Floors and furnishings protected
- Cabinets, counters, and fixtures covered
- Adjacent surfaces carefully masked
- Holes, cracks, and imperfections addressed
- Sanding, caulking, and priming as needed
Premium Paint for the Right Surface
A quality paint job depends on more than application. The product and finish matter too. We primarily use professional coatings from Sherwin-Williams, selecting the paint and sheen based on the surface, room, durability requirements, and the look you want.
For most interior walls and ceilings, Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint® is our standard paint line. Depending on the space, we may recommend a different sheen to balance appearance, washability, and durability.
Trim, doors, cabinets, and other woodwork have different demands than drywall, so these surfaces may call for specialty products such as Sherwin-Williams Emerald® Urethane Trim Enamel and a sheen that provides a harder, more durable finish. The goal is simple: use the right product and finish for each part of your home rather than treating every surface the same.

Interior Painting Questions
Have questions before getting started? Here are a few things homeowners commonly want to know before scheduling an interior painting project.
Do I need to choose my paint colors before getting an estimate?
No. We can estimate your project before every color and finish decision has been finalized. If you’re still deciding, we’ll discuss the surfaces being painted and can help you understand the product and sheen options available for each area.
How long will my interior painting project take?
Project timelines vary depending on the number of rooms, surfaces being painted, amount of preparation required, ceiling height, and complexity of the work. We’ll discuss the expected schedule with you before the project begins so you know what to expect.
Can I stay in my home while it’s being painted?
In many cases, yes. Whether that makes sense depends on the size and location of the project, the products being used, and which areas of the home are being painted. For larger projects, we can plan the work in stages to help minimize disruption to your household.
Do I need to move my furniture before painting?
It depends on the room and scope of the project. Smaller items and personal belongings should generally be removed, while larger furniture can often be moved away from the work area and protected. We’ll go over what needs to be moved before your project begins.
What happens if you find damaged drywall or other problems after work begins?
Minor surface imperfections can often be addressed as part of normal preparation. If we uncover damage or repairs beyond the agreed scope, we’ll discuss it with you before performing additional work so there are no unexpected changes to the project.
